Our frontend is a Single Page Application, currently built with ES6, React, Redux, Redux Saga, Styled Components, Jest and react-testing-library.
We started to replace Redux with react-query and plan a migration to TypeScript.
On the backend we use Rails, Postgres, Redis, Delayed Job, Chef, Open Telekom Cloud and AWS.
Workpath is expanding beyond its headquarters in Munich, and is building teams in Madrid, Barcelona and Berlin.

In this role you will: Collaborate with various stakeholders to create a common design system.Work on a new vision of the Workpath platform.Ship exciting features, enriched with animations and great UX.Eliminate tech debt and reduce inconsistencies (Yes.

).You will also: Have a say in which product features are developed.Own projects across the whole development lifecycle.Shape architectural, technical and organizational decisions during a time where we scale fast.Profile: This is a senior position, so we expect senior traits (Ownership, autonomy, mentorship).
Your foundations are excellent.
You have in-depth CSS experience and know your browser (event loops) and rendering.
When making architectural decisions, you balance necessity and nice-to-have through incremental improvements and collaborative work.
Deep knowledge in developing complex, scalable and cross-browser user interfaces and component libraries using React and Redux.
An intuitive understanding of good design, typography and UX.
Your desire to teach and learn is bigger than your ego.
Excellent communication skills and fluent English.
You are able to present complicated solutions to non-technical audiences in a simple and logical way.
