Junior Financial Controller is responsible for providing strategic advice, support, and services to internal business partners and external audiences and providers. Develops appropriate and effective policies, procedures, and controls pertaining to financial management, accounting processes and procedures (GAAP), cash management, financial and strategic planning, tax compliance, and corporate reporting functions. Manages and coordinates external financial reporting and investor relations, and will be in Madrid, Spain.
In this role, a typical day will look like: Monitor Cash Collection, identify opportunities and risks.Monitor monthly and annual financial accounts according to US-GAAP and local accounting standards, supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.Support budget & forecast processes.Support internal and external audit processes.Backup Finance Controller and provide Business Support to the commercial team.First-Year will be deeply involved in ERP implementation and Processes Management.The essential requirements of the job include: Financial accounting degree or CPA certification.Experience in US and SPA GAAP, Internal Control Procedures.Ability to work in fast-paced environments and deliver results while quickly adapting to changing priorities and unforeseen challenges.
