These are the applications that empower the clinical staff to safely and effectively interact with the medical robotic system. You will be interacting closely with Clinical and System Engineering to test and develop clinical and user requirements.We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who is interested in revolutionizing the world of medical robotics. We are looking for a Software Engineer with a focus on C++ and Linux to join our team to work on our distributed software system. The Software Infrastructure team focuses on system management software to handle POST, case tracking, internal host/application monitoring, and power management, as well as software infrastructure topics to handle fault/notifications, application communication, logging, and system configuration.Core Job ResponsibilitiesWork with software and other engineers (clinical, systems, mechanical, electrical) as part of a focused cross-functional team developing software for medical robotic applications.Participate in design discussions and code reviews.Work with engineering teams to support their business requirements.Qualifications RequiredKnowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience:Minimum B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.Experience working with Hardware and product bring up is preferred.Knowledge and experience with Linux is preferred.Experience with Networking in a distributed system is preferred.Experience with Python, CMake, Bash preferred.Experience working in medical devices is preferred.Position is located in Santa Clara, CA and may require up to 5% travel.Additional InformationThe anticipated base pay range for this position is to be discussed. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year.
