At ING we are looking for a Credit Risk Analyst Your role and work environment: We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Credit Risk Analyst to join our Credit Risk Tools Team of Retail Credit Risk. The Credit Risk Tools Department is composed of a team of specialists in charge of managing ING's retail portfolio risk during the whole credit cycle with a clear data-driven perspective. In addition to implementing, testing, and going live with all the policy changes in the credit risk tools, collaboration with numerous departments of the bank and the current range of products and projects—particularly on the innovation and regulation side—allows for a challenging, varied, and multi-disciplinary work environment. Your key responsibilities: Provide effective support to the Business in developing and maintaining credit policies and procedures in the credit risk tools to ensure sustainable lending growth and full compliance with Group Policies and Local regulations. Prepare regular reporting ensuring data quality and delivery timelines to provide adequate monitoring to identify risk drivers and allow effective decision-making to maximize growth under healthy KPIs. Perform ad-hoc portfolio analysis in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Understand industry trends and determine macroeconomic factors impacting fundamental credit drivers, as well as share and develop market best practices in lending products and risk management. Ensure portfolio credit quality moves within defined Risk Appetite levels and propose corrective actions if not. Develop policies in credit risk engines, detect inconsistencies between products, and ensure the quality of data in credit operations. What are we looking for? You have a Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Engineering, or similar.Full proficiency in Excel, SAS, and SQL.Other programming languages such as JAVA would be welcome.Your communication skills enable you to work together with many different parties throughout our organization.Willing and able to learn and improve your technical and interpersonal skills.Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English.At least 1 year of experience in Credit Risk or Data Analytics, from banking or consultancy.
