We are currently looking for a Cosmetics Buyer to join our team. She/He will ensure the cost-effective and optimal procurement of all materials and services, managing shipments in a timely manner to guarantee the optimal functioning of the company. This role is pivotal in managing supplier relationships, overseeing purchasing activities, handling contract negotiations, and driving successful campaigns in collaboration with our partners.
Our Cosmetics Buyer will be based in Barcelona.
Job description: Oversee and manage the procurement process for all cosmetics products, packaging, and other necessary materials. Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining high standards of quality.Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers and service providers. Ensure compliance with contractual terms and company policies and address any contractual issues that may arise.Collaborate with sales, marketing, financial, and regulatory teams to forecast demand and ensure alignment between supply and demand. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to adjust orders based on demand fluctuations.Coordinate and manage marketing campaigns with suppliers, including planning, execution, and performance analysis. Work closely with the marketing team to ensure that campaigns align with brand strategy and goals.Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Negotiate terms, resolve disputes, and explore opportunities for collaboration to drive mutual success.Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, contract performance, and marketing campaign results. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.Requirements: Experience with logistics, purchasing, demand planning, and procurement management.Experience establishing and managing supply chain processes and inventory management systems.Ability to analyze and improve business processes for better execution and increased efficiency.Knowledge of domestic and international commercial terms and incoterms, including understanding of title/risk/ownership transfers of inventory.Understanding and experience managing intermodal and transoceanic shipping, transloading, terminal storage, import/export documentation, and related logistics.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal communications; knowledge of Korean is a plus.Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
