Job Description Position Purpose PLANNING: Responsible for planning all logistics activity for a given perimeter so CHEP provides a constant and efficient supply of equipment to its customers (Manufacturers) at the right time, in the right manner and at the cheapest cost to serve to deliver high customer satisfaction.
EXECUTION: Also, responsible for supporting the execution of all logistics activity for a given perimeter so CHEP provides a constant and efficient supply of equipment to its customers (Retailers and Manufacturers) at the right time, in the right manner and at the cheapest cost to serve to deliver high customer satisfaction.
This person will be the primary operational contact for our transporters related to the execution of the orders.
Major/Key Accountabilities Daily Management of delivery orders Accurate and timely postings of Logistics cost Validation, Control and management of production plan Management and control of cancellations, advance orders, etc.
with customers Local Level customer collaboration Use Supply Chain, JDA and Inventory Management techniques to develop production and transportation plans ensuring high service levels at low cost.
Experience Logistics execution expertise Supply Chain background Experience in an environment with urgent requests and comfortable to manage those urgencies Skills and Knowledge Good numeracy Able to relate to customers, transporters, team members and other CHEP departments appropriately and switch easily between them.
