To achieve this, we carry out rigorous selection processes that ensure it.We are looking for a Contract Manager , whose main function will be:ResponsibilitiesManaging the contracts responsibilities and functions in project from inception through completion. Functional scope includes development of the project contracts strategy, administration of the prime contract and change orders and claims. Ensure that company fulfils all obligations associate with the terms & conditions of the contracts.Typically assigned to high risk, fixed price contracts or projects of considerable technical and commercial complexity, organizationally reports to the Project Manager and functionally to the Head of Contract Management Department.Provide prime contract change orders and claims (including counter claims) management and support to project team preparing and negotiating change orders and/or claims as required. Report performance data to the Corporate Contract Management Department to be used in improving contracts management tools, upgrading the skills of Contract Management personnel and improving workshops.Assist in the development and implementation of systems and resources necessary to fulfill prime contract management functions.Job Related Skills and ExperienceMore than 9 years of experience in Contract Management (CM or similar) positions.Assignment to projects in Madrid during the Engineering phase with the possibility of being assigned on-site for periods of 1 or 2 years during the construction phase.Previous experience in Oil & Gas/Energy projects is an important requirement.Broad knowledge of contracts management and claims. Extensive experience and knowledge of commercial management functions and work experience of a progressively responsible nature.
