WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You'll join our Product, Practice and Knowledge (PPK) department as part of our global Customer Practice.
Over the past two decades, we have formalized our industry and capability areas, internally known as "Practices", integral to how we win and deliver results to our clients.
PPK is a business unit of Bain and the team's primary role is to drive growth in an industry or capability and to help Bain 'scale results' by accelerating the development, deployment, commercialization, and delivery of world-class knowledge, expertise, and products.
Our Customer Practice is a global capability that cuts across all industry practices.
It focuses on top line revenue growth levers and any customer-centric activity at Bain including casework, client development, marketing and training.
Our product portfolio includes B2B Commercial Excellence (CE) and B2C Marketing Customer Experience (MCX).
WHERE YOU'LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
This role is for the Practice Solution Consultant for B2C Marketing and Customer Experience, which spans all the capabilities needed for a B2C (or B2B2C) company to sustain organic growth.
This includes brand and purpose, value proposition and offering, marketing, channel and ecosystem and customer experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You'll work closely with our Marketing & Customer Experience team, broader Customer practice team and FRWD, Bain's marketing execution capability to:
Deliver high impact selling & serving support: Deliver high impact selling and serving support through the execution of delivering and developing insights.Contribute to Bain's differentiated insights experience and expertise: Build broad knowledge of practice content and gain emerging personal expertise (distinctive competency) in 1-2 relevant topics.
Contribute significantly to Bain IP development and take responsibility for IP team results.
Play an active role in the deployment and commercialization of IP - internally and externally.Manage practice operations and PPK demands effectively: Command elements of practice operations: affiliate communications and trainings, revenue, pipeline and Iris toolkit maintenance.
Support planning processes and help track/execute on Practice goals.
Be a leader within PPK and team effectively with consulting staff and contributing functions to the PPK ecosystem.Build an inspired and engaged practice team: Manage the workloads of Knowledge Specialists by prioritizing activities, matching demand to resources in order to strike the right balance and a sustainable pace.
Contribute to team members' professional development and inspire and lead by example: team members are engaged (not just satisfied).
Coach team to adopt a very strong service orientation in everything they do: creates promoters. ABOUT YOU
- You must be passionate about Marketing and Customer Experience.
- You have 4+ years of professional experience, preferably with Marketing and CX experience.
- You're able to structure and lead complex business research and analysis in a fast-paced environment, as well as the skills to drive to pragmatic business insights.
- You must be entrepreneurial, proactive, and productive - someone who knows how to prioritize what needs to be done and rallies colleagues to get things accomplished.
- You must have demonstrated strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- You are a strong communicator and able to establish credibility with senior leaders.
- A great colleague and teammate - passionate about the task at hand and fun to be around; someone with whom Bainies go out of their way to work with.
- Driven by intellectual curiosity with the ability to self-motivate and work semi-autonomously.
- Superior customer service attitude and ability to lead within a team.
- Experience and proficiency creating high quality presentations.
- Bachelor's degree required.
