.Your mission About the Role As a Computer Vision Developer Relations Community Manager, you'll be the bridge between our cutting-edge computer vision technology and the vibrant developer community. Your passion for building relationships and your deep understanding of computer vision will be instrumental in fostering a thriving community of developers who are excited to use our tools and contribute to our mission. Responsibilities: Community Management: Work with Leadership to cultivate and grow a strong, engaged developer community through Discord, Reddit, GitHub, forums, and in-person events. Content Creation: Develop or collaborate with Marketing on creating high-quality content, including blog posts, tutorials, and webinars, to educate and inspire developers. Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from developers to inform the Product Team on feature improvements, common user pain points, and ensure our technology meets our users' needs. Developer Advocacy: Represent our company at industry events, conferences, and participate in other developer communities to advocate for Ultralytics everywhere and extend our community reach. Innovate: Plan, organize, and execute new ideas or initiatives to drive engagement with our community and to attract new members. Your profile Qualifications: Technical Proficiency: Reasonable understanding of computer vision, Python, Git, CI/CD, Docker, GitHub Actions, neural networks, PyTorch, OpenCV, and Ultralytics YOLO. Community Management: Experience building and managing developer communities, preferably on GitHub, Reddit, Discord, Discourse, or similar platforms. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly. Interpersonal Skills: A passion for building relationships and fostering a positive community atmosphere. Problem-Solving: Willingness to help solve user problems with patience and guidance. Personality: Disciplined: You live by the adage, "be the change you want to see in the world (community)" even if it's not visible to others, and you do things because they're what's right, not because it's what's easy. Helpful & Inspirational: You understand the importance of guiding rather than giving answers. Others feel empowered, not overpowered after chatting with you.
