You will be responsible for curating, organizing, and executing events that resonate with families, as well as building and engaging our community. This is a commission-based role, providing significant opportunities for financial growth as the community and events scale. Responsibilities Event Planning & Execution: Organize and execute family-friendly events such as playdates, workshops, outdoor activities, and themed gatherings for parents and children. Community Building: Grow and engage a vibrant community of families through social media platforms, newsletters, and in-person events. Partner Outreach: Identify and collaborate with local businesses, educators, and organizations to create unique experiences and secure sponsorships or partnerships for events. Content Creation: Create engaging content, such as event promotions and community stories. Member Engagement: Regularly interact with community members to foster relationships, gather feedback, and ensure high levels of satisfaction. Revenue Generation: Drive community membership growth and event attendance, which will directly influence your commission earnings. Qualifications Experience: Proven experience in event planning, community management, or customer relations, ideally with a focus on families, children, or social groups. Outgoing & Creative: A friendly, approachable personality with the creativity to design engaging, family-friendly events. Self-Motivated: As this role is commission-based, you must be highly motivated and proactive in generating community engagement and event attendance. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish (Catalan is a plus) to connect with diverse family groups. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate logistics, and pay attention to detail to ensure smooth event execution. Networking Abilities: Strong ability to build partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, and potential sponsors.
