We deliver the strategic direction for partnerships for IAG as a whole and work in collaboration with the operating airlines to create world-class partner propositions and take these to market using data-driven marketing.
The Spanish marketing team reports into the Head of Marketing and Brand, and sits within a single joined marketing function.
The team delivers full funnel marketing for all IAG Operating Companies, but specialises in loyalty and CRM lifecycles and contact strategies to drive programme members into high engaged segments - thus delivering maximum benefit to members themselves and highest profitability to IAGL, our strategic partners and our operating airline partners.
The Opportunity: This role holds responsibility for the overall strategy and delivery of the marketing plan for all customer-facing marketing for Iberia Plus and Vueling Club.
The individual will manage a team of marketing executives and have significant interaction across IAG airlines, agencies and internal IAGL loyalty stakeholders.
This includes overseeing the development of the member bases from Acquisition through to high engagement through the use of full funnel marketing plans that include ATL awareness of our Avios currency to highly personalised lifecycle segment journeys and trigger communications using sophisticated data and communications planning techniques and personalisation.
You will need to identify opportunities for growth for airlines and Avios by joining multiple data sources, capabilities, and insights to drive commercial advantage and develop the tools and capabilities which enable us to hit our customer targets, including personalisation techniques and technology.
How will I add value? There is a large opportunity to optimise our CRM activity for both Iberia Plus and Vueling Club using the tools and expertise that are available through Data and personalisation.
By leading the ongoing development of our process, tools, capability and Marketing technology; by recommending, influencing decisions on and then delivering against a best practice CRM Blueprint and integrated member lifecycle, you will help unlock current hidden value in our loyalty programmes.
Equally as important is, working with the Marketing Strategy lead, the ability to develop and disseminate the narrative around our member behaviour and understanding of how we continue to influence and move members through the loyalty lifecycle into the highly engaged segments.
What will I need in order to be successful? You need to be an experienced loyalty and CRM marketeer with the gravitas to operate within a complex network of senior stakeholders internally and across airlines to build mutually beneficial relationships.
You need to be comfortable working across multiple complex propositions, channels and markets with significant experience of working with data, data models and segmentations.
We are looking for a strong leader with proven expertise in coaching and growing talented individuals to create a high performing team.
You will need to be able to operate in a multi-lingual environment (English / Spanish).
