BARCELONA The Commercial Director will lead and execute the overall commercial strategy for the company in Spain. This critical role focuses on driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and enhancing brand presence while aligning with the organization's global vision.
Key Responsibilities Commercial StrategyDefine, develop, and implement a commercial strategy tailored to the Spanish market, ensuring alignment with global goals.Manage a multi-channel approach, ensuring synergy and coexistence among channels.Identify market opportunities and industry trends to foster growth and innovation.Oversee product portfolio management, focusing on pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.Set and monitor short- and long-term sales objectives aligned with the company's goals.Sales ManagementLead the national sales team to achieve commercial goals in line with KPIs and revenue targets.Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners (e.g., pharmacies, large accounts) to optimize distribution and sales channels.Develop strategies for geographic expansion within Spain, driving new business development.Team Leadership and DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing commercial team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented culture.Ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration between sales, marketing, logistics, and finance teams to align with company goals.Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance business outcomes.Financial and Operational OversightPrepare, manage, and control the commercial budget, ensuring financial targets are met.Monitor key performance metrics, including revenue, profit margins, market share, and cost management.Provide regular performance updates and propose strategies to address business challenges.Requirements Professional Experience minimum 10 years in a similar position.Proven track record in driving sales growth and managing P&L in a competitive market.Experience in managing sales and marketing teams with strong leadership and team development skills.Successful management of key accounts, distribution partners, and suppliers.Expertise in product portfolio management, pricing strategies, and product launches.Spanish and English at C2 level (mandatory).Catalan and French are a plus.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.Soft Skills Requirements Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term strategies and translate them into actionable, results-oriented plans.Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills to base decisions on data and market insights.Sales Leadership: Expertise in motivating sales teams to exceed targets in competitive markets.Market Insight: In-depth understanding of industry trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape.Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
