Through the outstanding knowledge and commitment of our 1800 employees and with a network of 6 production sites and 2 R&D centres, we supply a wide range of more than 1.800 products, in 80 international markets We seek to recruit a: Commercial Director - Spain The Commercial Director – Spain, is responsible for Business Development of our Contract Manufacturing services in Spain, and for Customer account management and development for our Business Unit in Alcorcon, Spain. Main Accountabilities / Responsibilities: The Commercial Director - Spain is responsible for: As a member of the Management team of FAMAR Alcorcon Business Unit, contribute in defining the strategy, management and planning of resources and in achieving in the overall efficiency and productivity of the Business Unit, in collaboration with the rest of the members of the Management Team and in alignment with the FAMAR Group's strategy and priorities. Develop a strategy for the Business Development of our CDMO services in Spain in collaboration with the Group Commercial unit. New customers prospecting in Spain. Submit offers following internal quotation and approval process. Build long-term trusting relationships with customers Ensure professional and efficient transfer of new business, in cooperation with BUs and Group Technical Transfer team. Act as the lead negotiator towards the customer for all legal documents for new business, while coordinating internally with Legal and all relevant reviewers and approvers. Prepare necessary reports relating to prospecting and sales results Define and monitor KPIs Define, track and report action plans Use CRM tools as needed Understand and align with FAMAR corporate values, policies, procedures and ways of working Follow HSE rules Candidate's Profile: Degree in Business / MBA, additional degree in a technical field will be considered as advantage. Native Spanish. Excellent knowledge of English as a second language is a plus. At least 15 years of commercial experience (of which 6-8 years at a managerial role) preferably in a CDMO company or Pharma B2B manufacturing company. Good understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Experience in negotiations and proven sales record Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to deliver engaging presentations Understanding of sales performance metrics Experience with CRM software Full PC literacy (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, BI); advanced familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts). Experience with CRM tools will be a plus Based in Madrid, Spain
