These services that the coaches provide help and empower the individuals to easily access essential resources, build self-confidence, become active members of their community and result in many new opportunities for them and their future.WE TAKE PRIDE IN THE DIFFERENCE WE MAKE IN THE LIVES OF THOSE WE SUPPORT AND SO COULD YOU!Under the minimal supervision of the ILS Program Manager, you as a Coach, will manage a caseload of several clients assigned to you by supporting, encouraging, teaching and working with each client individually. You will be working/meeting with clients in their own homes and/or out in the community to help them achieve their goals based on their individual support plan. Some examples of what you might assist/support/teach are functional life skills such as: advocacy, basic cooking, how to maintain a home, management of medical appointments and/or medications, how to access or utilize local community/government resources and how to access/utilize the local public transportation system.In this position, you are given the general liberty to make your own daily and weekly schedules based on understanding the clients' monthly hourly needs and by working with the client's availability and their desired days and times that work best for them. You will be responsible for taking and documenting daily service/case notes and writing quarterly progress reports for the individuals assigned to you. 90% of your time will be spent in the field working with clients and the other 10% will be administrative work, such as writing reports, documentation, emails, etc
