Antai Ventures is a Barcelona-based venture studio with presence across Southern Europe and LatAm. We partner-up and invest in the best co-founders to build global companies willing to disrupt multi-billion dollar industries. Since 2012 we have co-founded +30 companies including Glovo, Wallapop, PlatanoMelon, and Piper. Our ventures have raised more than $1.5B in funding, have generated more than $3B in shareholders value and currently employ more than 3000 people.
We are now looking for the founders of our next venture in the Travel & Tourism space. As a founder, you'll be in the driving seat, launching and leading your company. We'll invest in you and be your co-founding partners, equipping you with strategic, financial, and operational support in all the key areas (Product, Tech, Legal, Finance, Business Development, Fundraising, and Talent) to quickly go from 0 to 1.
As a Co-Founder & CEO, you will be responsible for: Designing commercial, product, and growth strategies
Building, leading, and motivating a strong team
Overseeing all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
Analyzing problematic situations and occurrences and providing solutions to ensure company survival and growth
Reviewing financial and non-financial results to devise solutions or improvements
Maintaining deep knowledge of the market and industry of the company
Building trust with key partners and stakeholders
Presenting the Company's vision, roadmap, and results to shareholders and potential investors
Requirements: Proven track record in taking things from 0 to 1 and getting your hands dirty
+5 years of experience in startups/scale-ups, having previously held a management position
Bonus: previous experience in the Travel or Tourism industry
Excellent communication and public speaking skills in English and Spanish Proved entrepreneurial and analytical mindset in finding solutions to complex problems with limited resources
Being comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of uncertainty
