Job Description: As a service manager, you will be responsible for managing the connection between IT areas and all stakeholders to ensure quality delivery of cloud solutions.
More specifically you will: Operate at scale and provide the connection between different IT areas and stakeholders to build Cloud services and deliver those within the group.Implement the strategy defined at group level with the Cloud Lead Service Manager.Ensure the necessary processes are followed and participate in the governance of the service, including acting as a point of escalation for the delivery teams.Communicate the benefits and performance of their service.Leverage appropriate Cloud services.Be responsible for the successful operation and continuous improvement of the service.Qualifications: Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar position.Azure or any other Public based Cloud Architecture and migration skills and experience.Strong understanding across Cloud and infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, and solutions) to deliver end-to-end Cloud Infrastructure architectures and designs.Knowledge of further Cloud technologies (Azure, Citrix).In-depth knowledge of key public cloud services.Proven knowledge of MS Azure platform and tools.Experience provisioning MS Azure subscriptions.Experience building scalable production systems.Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive projects from an architectural standpoint.Strong ITIL knowledge and experience working within an ITIL environment.Experience working within both multinational and multi-cultural environments.Proficient in English; any additional language is an advantage.Strong team player with the ability to build pro-active, cooperative working relationships with customers, peers, and key stakeholders based on respect and teamwork.Ability to act under strong pressure and manage crisis situations efficiently.Able to evaluate information, identify key issues, and formulate conclusions based on sound, practical judgment, experience, and common sense.Additional Information: This position will be based at our offices in Madrid with the possibility to work from home 50% of your time.
Occasional Travel (up to 20%).
