The team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced strategic advisor, thought partner, and operational leader to join as Chief of Staff to the Head of AI Operations.
This pivotal role will be instrumental in guiding and managing our ambitious growth trajectory as the company scales rapidly.
The Chief of Staff will play a critical role in ensuring that our AI Operations team not only meets but exceeds its objectives by fostering a culture of continuous innovation, operational excellence, and strategic alignment with the company's broader vision.
This individual will drive key initiatives, streamline complex workflows, and ensure that all aspects of AI Operations are optimized to support our mission of empowering Africa's workforce.
What does the job involve Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the Head of AI Operations to define and execute strategic initiatives aligned with company objectives.Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities for improvement within AI Operations, implementing changes across workflows, and tracking impact.Performance Monitoring: Develop dashboards to monitor KPIs, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.Project Management: Coordinate cross-functional AI projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.Communication and Alignment: Act as a liaison between the Head of AI Operations, other departments, and senior leadership to foster transparent communication.Mentorship and Development: Lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.Problem Solving: Address challenges creatively, developing solutions that align with our objectives.Qualifications 7+ Years of Startup or Tech Experience: Demonstrated experience working in or with startups, particularly in roles that required adaptability, innovation, and a hands-on approach.Project Management and Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and delivering projects on time and within scope.Advanced Communication and Presentation Skills: Ability to distill complex ideas into actionable insights, effectively presenting to senior leadership and other stakeholders.Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA preferred.African Market Insight: Experience within African markets is advantageous.Continuous Learner and Innovator: Eager to stay on top of trends in technology, AI, and operations management, continually seeking to bring new ideas to the team.Benefits Growth-Oriented: Join a rapidly growing company with global impact potential.Flexible, Remote Work: Work remotely within Africa.Competitive Salary and Benefits: Attractive salary with a benefits package that supports growth and well-being.
