LIMS Technical Architect (Laboratory Information Management System)The position is within our clients LAB LIMS Systems department within IT.
You will be part of a team managing LabVantage LV LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) supporting LIMS system which is core to the laboratory and production processes for our client.
You will be part of a team managing operation, maintenance, and development of GxP critical IT systems, including system corrections and releases as well as the support process in Agile methodology.As a LabVantage LIMS Solution Architect, you will work in close collaboration with the Product Manager to ensure the implementation of new solutions and improvements in the global LIMS system and align with LAB business requirements.
You will be responsible for the development of general and project specific architectural design and system specifications of the global LIMS platform as well as the planned and applied configuration changes, customizations, and system interfaces.ResponsibilitiesProvide overall technical enterprise LIMS leadership and participate in the development of the global LIMS enterprise architecture.Translate business requirements into enterprise LIMS configuration and system integration specifications and ensure specification implementation that is compliant with best industry practices.Participate in enterprise LIMS related infrastructure projects with an architectural emphasis such as the specification or adoption of system development best practices, development tools, and related architectural standards.QualificationsBachelor's in engineering, graduate degree in relevant field (Software Engineering, Instrumentation, Computer Science).Experience in leading system support and development teams of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) configured on LabVantage LV LIMS including 5 years as Solution Architect.Excellent laboratory business process understanding.Good communication and collaborative skills involving key stakeholders including follow-up on vendor deliverables and services according to agreements.Pharma Domain experience preferred.Ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders.Open for business travel.Start date: ASAPDuration: 1 year plus ExtensionLocation: Primarily remote with Workshops in Madrid.
