As an integral part of the Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) team, the Carrier Manager works within a geographical transportation market. The successful candidate will enable the development and growth of the programs in the region, continually identifying operational, service, and process improvements related to customer experience enhancement in a cost-effective environment.
Key job responsibilities:
Handle the business relationships with carriers, resolving operational issues and supporting commercial and contractual negotiations.Promote continuous improvement initiatives with performance teams, carriers, and operations to improve safety, cost efficiency, reliability, high standard service, and sustainability.Work cross-functionally with the Supply Chain, Warehouses, and Retail organizations to determine future demand for Transportation resources.Build strategy and carrier allocation for each Line Haul supply program, securing sufficient capacity especially for Prime week and Peak season.Maintain accurate reporting on key metrics for the market and prepare regular business reviews with leadership and internal stakeholders (WBR/MBR/QBR).Work across the EU in a cross-functional environment.Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degreeExperience in supply chainAdvanced proficiency in written and verbal Spanish and EnglishKnowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQLExperience in program or project managementExperience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teamsExperience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metricsExperience in driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadershipExperience leading process improvementsExperience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organizationExperience building processes, project management, and schedulesThis position is only available to candidates who hold a Certificado de Discapacidad issued by the Administration in Spain, pursuant to Royal Decree 1/2013, Nov 29, approving the Spanish PwD Act (express legal provision to reserve 2%).
