Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world.The Role:In this role, you will:Operate raisebore/longhole drills and all associated equipment.Co-ordinate moving, set-up, teardown, and placements of raisebore/longhole drilling equipment and drills.Assist in the installation and removal of bits and reamers.Required:Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent.Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience as a raisebore/longhole operator in a mining environment.Minimum of 2 years underground work experience.Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills.Recommended:Experience in longhole drilling and blasting.Ability to obtain a Saskatchewan Blasting certificate.Ability to operate small pieces of equipment (skid steer).Conditions of Employment:- Pre-Employment Substance Test.This position is eligible for the employee referral bonus.
