Position and Responsibilities Reporting to the superintendent, maintenance, the lead planner/scheduler provides key support to maximize work management performance. The lead planner/scheduler oversees a team of planners responsible for planning and scheduling of all preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance activities at the conversion facility to ensure the most efficient and effective utilization of maintenance resources and equipment. A key focus of this team is to drive a culture of reliability. This includes:
Ensuring all maintenance jobs are planned and scheduled with safety at the forefrontEnsuring communication of planned work to all affected partiesEnsure consistency and adherence to established processes, as well as continuous improvementOverseeing the site backlog of identified workProviding analytical support to the maintenance superintendentEducation and Qualifications Possess a relevant college diploma or advanced trade certification3-5 years in a leadership position5+ years experience as a maintenance planner/schedulerExceptional interpersonal, communication and leadership skillsProven ability to achieve resultsOrganized and self-motivatedAdvanced understanding of SAP Plant Maintenance and Materials Management modulesExperienced in KPI development and continuous improvement initiativesStrong MS-Office skills, in particular advanced Excel analytical skillsCMRP and/or MMP designationAssets: Knowledge and experience with Prometheus Advanced, Primavera P6 and MS-Project softwareSafety sensitive position.
