Your tasks: You will further develop the IT service management system (ITSM) Matrix42
You create and maintain customizing, interfaces, reporting, service automation, workflows, and configurations
Your tasks also include administration and documentation, training and support, as well as the operation and support of the ITSM tool and the associated systems
You coordinate with the specialist departments to fulfill requirements in a goal-oriented manner
You implement adjustments to the service definitions
You advise and support the specialist departments in using the systems
Your tasks also include the comprehensive IT conception of new IT systems as well as the implementation within existing structures
You program new IT systems and are responsible for their introduction
You maintain and service other existing IT systems
You optimize and implement processes and workflows that facilitate your tasks and the tasks of adjacent areas
You document your work in an appropriate and comprehensible manner
Our requirements:
You have a degree in computer science, have completed vocational training in the same field, or have extensive relevant specialist knowledge and can provide evidence of this.
Ideally, you have experience in ITSM, IT architectures, and project management, preferably in the Matrix42 environment
You have basic knowledge of various programming languages, preferably PowerShell and JavaScript
You are enthusiastic about digital transformation and enjoy working in an agile team
The position involves contact with manufacturers and consulting providers, so you are not afraid to represent the interests of the city administration to companies
As the city of Bochum uses various operating systems, you are familiar with the Windows Server and Linux (SLES) operating systems.
