DESCRIPTION
Amazon is hiring a Buyer to be based in our corporate offices in Barcelona. As a member of our Global Procurement Central Services (GPCS) team, you will support the EU procurement and business teams by delivering operational purchasing tasks and assignments.
MAIN SCOPE:
To provide functional support to the Warehouse sites Procurement network for operational and administrative tasks. This includes daily execution of purchasing orders and/or documents creation, invoice and supplier master data management, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: Meet service level agreements (SLA) for standard tasks (e.g. Purchase requisition compliance, Sourcing...)Achieving assigned project targets/objectives Key job responsibilities: Process daily purchase requisitions compliance, perform sourcing, remedy tickets, and web requisitionsProcess invoice and general procurement related queriesPoint of contact for some outside vendors/manufacturersAdministrate Purchase Order processWork in full compliance with the company Spending and Transaction policyProactively manage and decrease the number of invoices on hold (IOH), ensuring a robust procure-to-pay process. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: C1 English levelB2 French levelKnowledge in using ERP systems (e.g. SAP, ORACLE, Coupa) in large organizationsKnowledge in MS Office - in particular MS Excel PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: High precision in verbal and written communicationPrevious experience in shared service centers advantageousData analysis experience will be valuedSelf-motivatedAbility to resolve day-to-day problems and focus on delivering resultsAbility to make effective escalation decisionsGood attention to detail and organizational skillsGood judgment and instinctsAble to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment, good time managementFormal business administration or procurement qualification required; Bachelor degree preferred Sounds interesting?
