Job Title Business Planning & Performance Management Principal Specialist
Summary: As Business Planning & Performance Management Principal Specialist your objective is to ensure the Travel Seller Media product offering is clear and attractive, and implemented seamlessly across all touch points, including GTM (Go-to-Market) materials. You aim to maximize effectiveness and create a lasting impact for both the company and its clients by supporting and helping to define the GTM planning. It requires extensive cross-collaboration and project planning. You will lead all the activities related to sales enablement, marketing, product evolution, pricing, and performance monitoring to ensure we achieve the sales goals assigned to the Travel Seller Media products. You will identify and address the customer needs based on the regions' needs and will propose product enhancements to expand the reach and ensure product evolution. You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle from a Go-to-Market perspective, including sunsetting and/or new system integrations if needed. You will manage the product-specific third-party partnerships.
In this role you will: Sales & Performance Management Lead the Travel Seller Media (GDS Media and Preference Media) product offering to successfully meet the sales targets. Work on the definition of the commercial targets and monitor the evolution against plan. Collaborate closely with the global commercial team to achieve new and renewal sales targets and identify challenges directly from the field. Provide detailed insights and actionable recommendations through data analysis. Product Strategy and Evolution Gather and consolidate inputs to identify customer needs and ensure product readiness and deployment. Assess and prioritize potential enhancements based on overall strategic alignment, business opportunity, and potential challenges. Identify obstacles to product performance and recommend solutions to overcome them. Define the best mix of Go-to-Market initiatives. Manage Commercial Strategy Define and deploy actionable commercial strategies to accomplish Travel Seller Media commercial targets while ensuring flexibility. Conduct various analyses and benchmarks to maintain the portfolio's market position, define pricing strategies, packages, and promotions. Manage the relationship with internal stakeholders to ensure the appropriate level of service is provided to customers for contracted services. Analyze the opportunities we have beyond the core business (GDS) with web services, Online Booking Tools (OBTs), and/or other B2B publishing channels. Communicate the product benefits and features to large commercial audiences. Represent Amadeus with the Partners Gatekeepers on day-to-day activities related to pricing, operations, sales, promotion, results, revenue goals, and value proposition for GDS Media / Preference Media products. About the ideal candidate: Holds a university degree in Business and/or Engineering or equivalent work experience. Demonstrates 7+ years' experience in building and successfully launching software/media products. Feels comfortable having sales targets and being in contact/presenting to commercial teams very often. Is a proficient user of databases, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office. Travel industry, Media, or Ad Tech experience is beneficial but not required. Ideally, knows the distribution business and has experience in project management. Is proficient in English; other languages are a plus.
