Business Operations Planning Senior Specialist Job Title: Business Operations Planning Senior Specialist
Summary: The Business Operations Planning Senior Specialist is responsible for providing capacity and resource planning, follow-up, and reporting to ensure process improvement and facilitate top management decision-making and optimal organizational functioning. The role requires advanced technical and functional knowledge in the discipline, acting as a reference for less experienced colleagues and supporting junior team members. The specialist will influence decisions, anticipate dependencies and consequences in complex scenarios, contribute to transversal projects, propose process improvements, and be accountable for their own and the team's commitments. The role involves working independently within a plan dictated by the manager, with guidance provided for the most complex situations.
In this role you will: Capacity & Resource Planning, Follow-up, and Reporting Collect and Consolidate Inputs: Gather and consolidate inputs/assumptions to construct the yearly budget.Monitor Budget Evolutions: Track all budget evolutions and report on any variances.Provide Management Reports: Create and distribute regular management reports and dashboards, including revenue, cost, and resource consumption figures.Perform Feasibility Checks: Conduct feasibility checks for services (resource availability, ramp-up feasibility) and centralize requests for resources to ensure anticipation, planning, and communication.Process & Performance Improvement Map and Formalize Processes: Develop and document processes associated with specific objectives or activities.Identify Performance Indicators: Determine and measure key performance indicators to evaluate process effectiveness and efficiency.Propose Process Improvements: Identify best practices and suggest process improvements, tools, and techniques to enhance efficiency and performance.Support Quality Audits: Prepare and support the division during internal and external quality audits.Management Support Prepare Presentations: Create presentations for division management, including division strategy, activity updates, key figures, and project progress.Develop Training Programs: Collaborate with the training department to develop and maintain the training program for division staff.Coordinate Communication Events: Work with the communications department to coordinate communication events and opportunities, such as articles and staff briefings.Division Specific and Transversal Projects Participate in Projects: Engage in and contribute to division-specific and transversal projects as needed.About the ideal candidate: Bachelor's degree in financial, Business Management, or a related field3+ years of Hospitality experience or Technology experience3+ years of Project Management experience.Demonstrated experience with team across collaboration and supportAbility to manage multiple projects and work across multiple business units / teamsGood understanding of data bases and data integrityUnderstand the importance of clean data and how to maintain in specially with PRMExperience working on tools: Salesforce, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS visioAnalytical and strategic thinking.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Creative problem-solving with ability to see big pictures but also the ability to dive into the details to discover under lying patterns, mistakes tec.What we can offer you: A complete rewards offer - Amadeus provides attractive remuneration packages, covering all essential components of a competitive reward offer, including bonus, equity, pension plan, travel, life and healthcare insurance, as well as lunch and transport allowance and other benefits.A truly global DNA - Everything at Amadeus is global, from our people to our business, which translates into our footprint, processes, and culture.Great opportunities to learn - Learning happens all the time and in many ways at Amadeus, through on-the-job training, formal learning activities, and day-to-day interactions with colleagues.A caring environment - Amadeus fosters a caring environment, nurturing both a fulfilling career and personal and family life.
