The journey starts here, with you at SITA.ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:As a Business Operations Manager, you will collaborate closely with product portfolio leaders to define operating plans, track performance against targets, manage risk/privacy requirements, and drive executive reporting. Leveraging your experience in managing and growing businesses, you will play a key role in elevating our thinking from tactical execution to strategic management, driving the organization towards long-term success.WHAT YOU WILL DO:Strategic Thinking: Lead efforts to transition operational thinking from tactical to strategic. Decide how to organize to ensure we are driving the execution of our strategic plans while meeting all corporate reporting/compliance requirements efficiently.Operating Plan Definition: Collaborate with portfolio managers and other key stakeholders to define comprehensive portfolio operating plans aligned with strategic priorities.Performance Tracking: Develop and implement mechanisms for tracking performance against operating plans, including key performance indicators (KPIs), milestones, and targets.Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities to optimize operational processes and improve efficiency, driving initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.Executive Reporting: Prepare regular executive-level reports and presentations to communicate business performance, highlight key insights, and provide actionable recommendations for decision-making.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders, including senior executives, portfolio managers, and business partners, to align strategic priorities and drive consensus on operational plans and initiatives.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges to the execution of operating plans and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and minimize disruptions.Qualifications:EXPERIENCE:A minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience, spanning various roles in business operations, management consulting, and/or corporate line functions.Prior experience working for companies that provide technology or communications services, including communication service providers, hardware/software providers, systems integrators, and/or consulting/advisory firms.Bachelor's degree level or equivalent in a business or technical discipline.Ability to think strategically and align operational activities with overall business objectives.Proficiency in planning, executing, and monitoring projects to ensure they are driving strategic goals.Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to streamline operations and increase efficiency.Proven capability to lead and exert influence over virtual teams in an international context, fostering collaboration and synergy across diverse geographical locations.Exceptional oral and written English communication skills
