We are looking for a talented, passionate and self-motivated Business Intelligence Engineer to join our EU External Fulfillment (EF) Ops Excellence Team. EF is an organization that offers flexible, third-party logistics (3PL) solutions to the Amazon network, enabling rapid set-up and scalability.
The EU Ops Excellence (OE) team is responsible for driving cross-functional projects and programs to support the External Fulfilment organization. Our work revolves around three main areas:
Support the launch of standard 3PL facilities (Non Sort, HZ, and BWS) from the request for quotation (RFQ) stage through operational execution.
Developing scalable solutions to enhance the performance and quality of the EF network.
Delivering business intelligence through data mining and visualization, providing valuable insights to drive decision-making.
By leveraging our expertise and collaborating across functions, the EU OE team is instrumental in enabling the growth and optimization of the EF network, ultimately supporting Amazon's logistics operations throughout the European region.
Key Job Responsibilities As a Business Intelligence Engineer in the team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to build scalable data solutions and analytical insight. You will be able to understand the analytical requirements and classify data requests from low to complex, partnering with analysts from the Central Operations Services team to implement effective and fast data delivery solutions. You will work with a team of highly motivated business intelligence engineers and:
Contribute to the design, implementation, and delivery of complex BI solutions for the External Fulfillment Network.
Partner with Data Engineering to enhance data infrastructure and data availability during Prime / PEAK Events.
Use data mining and model building to create solutions for the growing analytical needs of the EF network.
Drive projects on data automation, governance, and standardization.
Develop innovative BI and data analytics solutions leveraging AWS Bedrock and generative AI to build intelligent knowledge bases and conversational interfaces for enhanced business insights and recommendations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling.
Experience in data mining, ETL, etc., and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
Experience with AWS services Bedrock, Lambda, SQS.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance, or equivalent quantitative field.
Experience in designing the database architecture for large-scale usage.
