Business Intelligence Consultant (Madrid)

The CompanyOur customer is a multinational that operates all over the world for more than 60 years and is one of the leading producers of food products. They will hire the selected candidate as an internal and permanent employee.
Description of the positionThey are looking for a Business Intelligence Consultant who will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing business intelligence solutions plus fixing the existing ones.
Working ExperienceMinimum of 5 years hands-on work in Business Intelligence.Hands-on experience with Oracle 12c, ODI 12, and MicroStrategy 2020-onwards.Experience with Master Data Management, design, and implementation.Experience in cloud-based solutions on Azure (Azure Data lake, Azure Data Storage, Azure Data Factory), AWS, or Google cloud.Experience in data governance and information organization.Experience in Agile development.Key ResponsibilitiesWork as the project lead to understand business processes and implement company-centric solutions including but not limited to:Updating our central data warehouse, using best practices to gather requirements, model data, and implement a system that is highly performant and near-real-time.Extend existing Data Warehouse infrastructures with new dimensionality, functionalities, scenarios, and new data sources using Oracle Data Integrator.Develop interactive reporting solutions using MicroStrategy /Power BI.Mandatory skillsIn-depth knowledge of Oracle Database, Oracle Data Integrator, and Microstrategy are a must.
Advanced knowledge of Data Warehousing and BI best practices.
Excellent analytic and deductive reasoning ability.
Valuable for the position:Other knowledge and experience on ETL and reporting tools (like PowerBI) is a plus.
Knowledge in R or Python is a plus.
LanguagesEnglish: B2 intermediate.
Job locationMadrid. European Union citizen; otherwise, a valid job permit is mandatory.
Willing to travel.
SalaryA very competitive salary package.
Working from home: Up to 3 days per week remote work allowed.
