Job Description: The New Business Engineering (NBE) creates and provides customized solutions for UPS core and external customers. He / She strengthens customer relationships through enabling UPS to be a single source provider of transportation and supply chain related needs and consulting. He / She works with Business Development, Program Management and other departments to gather customer business requirements and translates this into successful supply chain solutions design and pricing to win new business. KEY ACTIVITIES Supports Business Development with the design and pricing (proposal) of a supply chain solution for Healthcare product vertical.Demonstrates a detailed understanding of logistics and supply chain concepts; makes recommendations for possible changes to solve supply chain problems on routine accounts. Demonstrates a detailed understanding of Cost Modelling financial concepts and drivers; and P&L components of an account income statements. Communicates with clients to gain clear understanding of requirements for their supply chain and verify data assumptions. Supports team with designing detailed warehouse processes, setup and costing, and works collaboratively with IT solutions and Transport solutions teams to provide a total supply chain solution. Ensures the final design will meet customer expectations, fit UPS Healthcare strategy and will be supported by UPS' (IT) infrastructure. On occasions, participates in customer meetings/workshops to discuss the overall UPS solution answering to the customer needs. Manages project lifecycles.Develops project plans, assigns tasks to resources and ensures affected functions or groups are identified and held accountable. Communicates with assigned resources formally (e.g., status meetings, etc.) and informally to continuously manage deliverables and adherence to the project timelines. Presents project documents to stakeholders to obtain sign-off, agreement on project cost and pricing. Balances multiple projects and deployment schedules to meet stakeholder goals and expectations.
