We are looking for an inspired talent to support and drive this transformation. To ensure sustainable growth and profitability in digital and green through the Social Innovation Business, Hitachi is undergoing a major transformation to establish a customer centric business model (incl. alignment of global processes and common digital tools).Business Development Manager (m/f/d)Your responsibilities:One part of the transformation activities is the setup of a global Account management that represents Hitachi voice to targeted customers, fully understanding its needs while increasing Hitachi's share of wallet.The Business Development Manager's main mission is to support in finding and taking advantage of new business opportunities across Hitachi. This involves working with regional teams and business units to create and follow sales plans and managing cross-functional projects. The manager supports building strong customer relationships, presents business proposals, and carries out growth plans in various markets. In collecting customer success stories, they ensure Hitachi's value proposition meets market needs.Support the definition, development and execution of growth opportunities identified by GM&S in collaboration with regions and the BU'sCoordinate cross-functional teams to drive business development projectsDevelop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to stakeholdersBuild and maintains strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfactionExecuting growth initiatives across the different accounts and segmentsSupport in collecting the success stories and customer testimonialsHelp to bring pilot opportunities for new accounts or products whenever is requiredSupports organization in the execution of solution launchesActs as the interface / bridge between internal function and departments, sites and countries.Understands segment / channel / customer application and engineering needs in the market.Analyzes results and assists with corrective actions as necessary.Your profileWe're looking for a team player, who is motivated by delivering great work and the Hitachi vision.The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and background:Demonstrate and show a clear history of being able to work and operate across Hitachi and the ability to communicate clearly and confidently at all levels.Good understanding of Hitachi's portfolio knowledge on addressing specific customer needs and market challenges.Strong can-do attitude with a proactive mindset to commitment and execution.Demonstrate an ability to influence and deliver specification sales the product portfolioWillingness and openness to travel occasionally when requiredCultural sensitivity and openness to work in an international business environment across all timezonesExcellent English level.
