We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Business Development Manager to join our sister company.
About the role:
You will be responsible for managing and developing our sales opportunities, expanding our client base in the VAS and Direct Carrier Billing industry by creating and applying an effective sales strategy. You will focus on tapping your existing network, autonomously opening up opportunities and managing the full cycle, from initial discovery up to onboarding. This role will exceed revenue goals by building and maintaining relationships, addressing customer pains, and offering the right solutions to our prospects. The most relevant are aggregators and Mobile operators.
Responsibilities: Generate new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships. Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal. Present products to prospective partners. Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data. Responsible to keep a stream of new integrations (projects) for our technical development team. Creation of business requirements for new projects/integrations. Attend trade shows and fairs to meet prospective clients. Identify improvements of our solution based on the client's needs. Keep current with VAS/DCB trends and engage aggregators and mobile operators addressing their business challenges. Communicate project status while working with various internal teams/departments, ensuring compliance with programmed objectives. Manage payments and financial communication with external partners. Be directly responsible for the follow-up of Key Performance Indicators of our products. Manage data-driven analysis of performance with a strong focus on KPIs like billing rate, conversion rate, and retention. Seek to improve profitability of our products in different markets by innovating billing strategies and recommending changes to the product. Identify and test opportunities with new channels and manage the technical integration of them. Requirements: 2+ years of proven experience in Direct Carrier Billing / VAS industry ideally at Carrier level or being directly in touch with billing providers/aggregators. 2+ years of proven experience as an Account Executive or similar sales role. Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships. Aptitude for technology. Ability to work with a wide range of partners from end users to C-level. Advanced/Fluent English. Organizational and time-management skills. Solid problem-solving skills to face partners' objections and various stakeholders. Goal-oriented mindset. Work effectively as part of a team and independently with a can-do attitude. Proactive person, always thinking about the future and planning. Would be a plus: Existing contact network of mobile operators & billing providers/aggregators. Additional languages are a plus: Arabic, French, Spanish, etc. What we offer: Full-time position.
