The Business Transformation Journey area in Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) focuses on providing a wide range of financial services to large corporates, institutions and corporate banks (Tier I and Tier II) to enrich their service portfolio for their business growth and revenue enhancement purposes.We are currently looking for a Banking Business Consultant to join our Corporate & Investment Banking practice in Madrid, specialized in the accounting and valuation of financial instruments.
Our presence in Global Teams will cover all competences that are relevant to transform business units and to adapt to new regulatory and industry/business trends and requirements, developing new offering according to our client prioritiesAs a derivative accounting and valuation expert your main responsibilities will involve:Understanding of fixed income and derivative markets and (extensive) knowledge of derivatives valuation (swaps, options, etc.
).Ensure compliance with IFRS 9, 13, 16.Hedge accounting for derivatives and accounting treatment for financial assets and liabilitiesWorking on cash-flow and settlement prices validation, throughout each stage of product implementation.
