Through adaptable communication skills and the ability to translate between technical and business language, the IT BA will work collaboratively, negotiating requirements across multiple groups.Your role plays an integral part in the organisation, enabling us to support our mission of empowering Australians to create meaningful change for the world's most vulnerable children and adults.This is a Maximum contract role until October 2025.Your responsibilities include:Performing work safely and completing tasks on time, within budget and in accordance with agreed expectations.Maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders, to identify and resolve project issues and schedule impacts and keeping them engaged and informed.Developing positive and sustaining relationships with team members, particularly Product Managers and Product Owners.Conflict resolution, negotiation, and general team building.Leading and facilitating workshops with stakeholders to create and develop user stories/business requirements, running project inceptions, breaking work into logical units, clarifying requirements, estimating work and setting timeframes.Championing project delivery practices that lead to the production of high-quality solutions.Identifying and proposing technology-based business solutions to key stakeholders.Who we're looking for:As the successful applicant you will have the ability to conceptualise and think creatively, be highly motivated with strong interpersonal skills.In addition you will have:Minimum 2 years' experience as a Business Analyst.A logical approach to problem solving and an investigative and inquisitive mind.Strong knowledge of and/or certifications/credentials in a broad range of industry methodologies.Excellent communication skills, both in terms of written (documentation) and verbal (e.g. facilitating workshops).Good analytical and reporting abilities.The ability to communicate with technical experts and collate complex information from various sources.Demonstrated business analysis, process mapping and business systems experience.Experience in Project management is desirable with experience working within cross-functional teams.Experience with a broad range of SDLC principles.Office365, SharePoint and MS PowerApps (Flow, PowerApps, Forms, etc.).Dynamics 365/CRM/ERP configuration and customisation advantageous.Any/all the following an advantage: SQL Server 2008/2012/2016, PowerBI, data analysis, Azure DevOps.Tertiary qualifications – Degree-level business/computer science/engineering/software; Tertiary level business analytics or equivalent preferred.Working for World Vision means you are making the world better.
