We're looking for a motivated and driven Regional Operations Manager who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.
The position will be based in Barcelona.
You will play a crucial role in shaping our operations, driving growth, and directly contributing to our success in Spain and France regions.
Your Tasks – Paint the world green Build and Maintain Partnerships: Establish and strengthen collaborations with local partners in the Basque Country and Catalonia, acting as their trusted point of contact.
Training and Development: Train and support drivers from our bus partners, ensuring alignment with our international quality standards.
Optimize Quality and Service: Adapt and continuously improve service and quality standards to meet the unique needs of the Spanish and French markets.
Operational Execution: Ensure the smooth launch of new bus lines and oversee their ongoing performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams, including Line Planning, Business Development, Traffic Control, and support teams at HQ in Germany.
Customer Satisfaction: Manage and monitor the Net Promoter Score (NPS) for all bus partners operating in the Basque and Catalonia regions, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Frequent Travel: This role requires regular travel to maintain strong relationships and ensure operational excellence.
Your Profile – Ready to hop on board 3-6 years of operational experience in the travel, transportation, or logistics industry.
Experience in portfolio management, logistics, or the transportation/tourism industry is a plus.
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to manage a variety of stakeholders, including terminal managers, drivers, and regional authorities.
An entrepreneurial mindset with a "hands-on" attitude, ready to contribute wherever needed to achieve company goals.
Passionate, proactive, and reliable, with the ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
Trustworthy and flexible, committed to delivering high-quality work and continuously improving processes.
Fluent in Spanish (mother tongue proficiency), fluent in English.
French language skills is a big plus.
