Nielsen Sports provides essential services to clients, helping them to measure, analyse, and interpret the effectiveness of their investments, and to make sound strategic decisions.As part of the International Consulting group at Nielsen Sports, you will be working closely with many of the world's largest sports and entertainment rights holders, brands, agencies, and broadcasters across the globe, helping them find the right answers to any commercial challenges.Our projects are wide and varied, spanning commercial strategy, rights package creation and go-to-market strategies, event impact analysis, sponsorship evaluation and ROI modelling, and broadcast rights valuation.In addition to your analytical skills, you will have excellent problem definition, strategic planning, and story lining skills and be able to turn your analysis results into compelling stories that deliver meaningful insights and added value to our clients.The role will be based in Barcelona; we encourage everyone to work from there to learn from and connect with colleagues. However, we have adopted a flexible working approach and therefore the opportunity to work in a hybrid mode is available for those wanting to do so.GENERAL SKILLS/COMPETENCYKey skills and competencies for this role include having an analytical mindset, identifying client needs, being knowledgeable in media and sponsorship, good time management and prioritization skills, and excellent communication skills to present recommendations to different audiences. You will also need to maintain an internal and external network, coordinate ongoing client projects, and continually expand your knowledge of client business issues and needs, Nielsen Sports solutions, and the media and advertising industry.Furthermore, you should be digitally literate, and a driver of automation and scalable business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. With your help, we can support our clients in achieving their business growth goals and deliver high-quality services that exceed their expectations.SPECIFIC SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken)2 years' experience as a strategy and/or management consultant at a top consulting firm or a top entity operating in the sport industry, delivering client analytical projects, using project management platforms and managing diverse stakeholdersProficiency in Microsoft Office skills, particularly Powerpoint and Excel. Good competence using Business Intelligence tools/platforms, such as PowerBI is a bonusGood grounding in custom research principles, methodologies, statistical techniques.Experienced in using SPSS files and/or Q Research software or similar platforms for manipulating disaggregated research data
