This individual will be part of the Southern European HR Business Partner community reporting to the Regional HRD.The Senior HR Business Partner will be based in Madrid with two different levels of responsibilities:Globally or partially in charge of the Regional teams of an Executive Leader: local HR support and complex problem-solving.Local responsibilities, specifically based on social affairs and the relation with the work councils, national unions, and instances in this role.The HRBP will work collaboratively with the Southern Europe HR team as well as the global HR Centres of Expertise including Total Reward, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, and HR Shared Services/HR Operations to ensure regionally aligned delivery of key HR initiatives that support the framework of the global HR strategy. The HRBP will additionally support the flawless execution of HR management processes and tools.What it takesActively partners with leaders and managers in their geography, demonstrating and providing solutions to all day-to-day HR issues, drawing on the technical expertise of dedicated departments (HR Centers of Expertise) such as disciplinary matters, HR partnering, legal affairs, and personnel administration. Assists managers in understanding human resources issues and developing their teams.He/she steers new joiners onboarding and proposes/triggers the training needed to support business growth. He also helps in performance reviews, talent reviews, and succession plans. Manages and negotiates the departure of individual employees. Deploys Group HR processes locally, considering the specific features of each local legislation and culture, with a view to alignment and harmonization of values, benefits, etc. Actively participates in more global Group HR projects, often with an international dimension. Supports M&A and integration activity as appropriate. Acts as an employee advocate.You are great atDemonstrating clear business and commercial acumen, evidencing the use of insights in the business environment to improve talent and business outcomes. Capable of building a robust HR business case using organisation and financial data and substantiating investment vs risk. Prioritizing and organizing can manage your own time effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Taking a pragmatic approach, balancing business imperatives with the needs of the individual. Problem-solving and curiosity to tackle challenges come naturally. Quickly building credibility and strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Influencing stakeholders, collaborating, driving stakeholders to action, and being thoughtful in overcoming objections. Gaining buy-in to HR recommendations.
