Join Roche, where every voice matters.The PositionReporting to the Bid and Contracts Lead, your mission is to lead the Bid & Contracts Specialists Team and coordinate transversally the company's participation in public tenders, private proposals, RFP and contracts. Your role focuses on ensuring the fulfillment of all internal and public procurement processes to achieve commercial success and eliminating the associated risks.In addition, the Bid & Contracts Specialists Team Lead must guarantee appropriate use of the team resources, developing the necessary skills and integrating new technologies in processes. You will be the affiliate's key figure in public and private procurement regulation and trends, transmitting the knowledge of said activity both at the subchapter level and to the rest of the organization.Your holistic vision of all the past, ongoing and upcoming commercial operations will allow you to balance the team's workload, identify potential opportunities, risks and critical points, as well as offer expert assessment and support to the whole subchapter.Your Key Responsibilities:Responsible for the training and development of the Contract & Bid Specialists team.Coordinates and assigns a Contract & Bid Specialist to each operation. Ensures full and coordinated contribution of the team, making sure that the learning resulting from the operations is collective.Guarantees the fulfillment of the methodology, deadlines, and the creation of high-quality deliverables.As the responsible for the execution of the bidding and contracting processes identifies areas for improvement in internal processes, tools, and training of the whole team in order to achieve full collaboration, efficiency, and accountability.Being the main subject matter expert within the company in the field of the regulation and operation of public procurement processes, leads the training for all teams at both the subchapter level and throughout the rest of the organization.Leads the coordination, both internally and with legal consultants, for disputes and litigations, ensuring the establishment of a successful strategy and its proper execution.Ensures the availability of all necessary tools, permits, and documentation to participate successfully in all commercial operations.Secures timely management of notifications, requirements, amendments, and other necessary procedures.Guarantees the quality of documentation prepared by the Bid & Contract Specialists team for participation in tenders, private offers, RFPs, contracts, and amendments.Alongside Bids & Contracts Intelligence, ensures the quality of information registered into Tenders and Contracts information systems (G2T, SharePoint, Gdrive, etc.).Required Skills:Public procurement:High knowledge of the public procurement framework and its regulation.Preferably experience in litigations in the context of public tenders.Experience in the IVD or biotechnologies field is very valuable.Organizational and Strategic Skills:Leadership skills and ability to manage multiple collaborators, tasks and projects at the same time.Adaptation and resilience to face changing situations and overcome obstacles.Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently to meet established deadlines and work well under pressure.Skills using new tools and applying new technologies in existing processes.Training and Communication Skills:Ability to communicate, divulge knowledge and conduct training sessions.Effective communication skills to lead multidisciplinary teams in proposal building as well as the coordination of litigations.Who You Are:Bachelor's Degree.High knowledge of public procurement.Capability to lead multidisciplinary teams.Training and communicating capabilities.High level of Spanish and English.Experience:Experience coordinating teams for participation in public tenders and private contracting.Preferred experience in markets related to the IVD sector and/or Biotechnological.Experience in process improvement and technology integration in processes will be valued.Additionally, we will also value profiles that, although they do not meet the required training and/or experience, bring relevant experience for the position and the organization.Who we areAt Roche, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
