Ba-175 - Uav Design Engineer

In ARQUIMEA AEROSPACE DEFENCE SECURITY, we develop safer and more reliable defense systems through technology, including unmanned aerial systems (UAVs), sensing systems, command and control software, and aiming systems.
We are looking for a UAV Design Engineer with the mission to design, develop, and optimize UAV systems and components.
Tasks to be performed:Aerodynamic and systems design of UAV platforms, both fixed-wing and rotary-wing.Preparation of technical and manufacturing documentation for UAV platforms.Assembly of prototypes.Preparation and execution of UAV test plans, both in the laboratory and in flight.Required skills, experience, and candidate profile:Aeronautical or industrial engineering.Minimum 3 years' experience in UAV platforms.Experience with Catia or Solid Works design software.Knowledge of aerodynamic calculations and flight mechanics is essential.Knowledge of assembly, manufacturing, and maintenance processes for UAV platforms.Knowledge of drone piloting is valued.Knowledge of aerodynamic simulation tools (XFLR5 / FLUENT / OPENFOAM) is valued.Level B2-C1 English.The position is located in our Headquarters of Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid).
