As a High-End Merchandising Manager, you will serve as an ambassador of Louis Vuitton's most prestigious product categories across the Mediterranean region. Your role is to develop and implement strategies to enhance sales, optimize performance, and ensure the successful launch of products. You will collaborate with retail teams and head office departments, driving the business with a client-centric mindset and nurturing our community of experts. Analytical, product-savvy, and commercially focused, you will oversee product assortment, sales, and team training to support the luxury experience.
Key Responsibilities:Business Development & Strategy
- Develop and execute regional merchandising strategies to meet sales, sell-through, and profitability objectives.
- Collaborate closely with Head Office teams (including Visual Merchandising, Client Development, Supply Chain, and Events) to drive business growth.
- Ensure effective communication between the Paris EMEA HQ, the Mediterranean regional office, and store teams.
- Organize regular in-store meetings with store teams to monitor performance, provide insights, and implement action plans for product priorities.
- Define seasonal business targets, manage assortment strategy, and optimize product launches across all Mediterranean stores.
- Oversee product flow, ensuring optimal stock levels.
- Drive opportunities for business expansion through initiatives such as pop-ups, caravans, and product pushes. Community
- Build and nurture a community of category experts, team managers, and seniors, ensuring knowledge transfer and best practices across the region.
- Support recruitment for key category profiles and maintain tools that enhance retail teams' effectiveness, refreshing them regularly.
- Coordinate with the retail learning team to deliver bespoke product training sessions for store openings, caravans, and pop-ups. Events & Clienteling
- Collaborate with Clienteling teams to recruit and elevate the client base through targeted product selections and special events.
- Lead local and international events, including product launches, client engagement, and training initiatives.
- Monitor and drive sales related to events, preparing post-event reports and follow-ups. Reporting & Product Feedback
- Provide weekly updates on merchandising activities, category performance, and commercial targets.
- Offer feedback on product performance, client preferences, and market trends to the EMEA team, contributing to product development and forecasting.
- Conduct competitive analysis and regular store visits to understand market dynamics and client behaviors. Minimum Requirements:Minimum of 5 years of experience in luxury retail merchandising.Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.Proven ability to influence stakeholders at various levels within the organization.Deep understanding of luxury products, trends, and client experience.Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish and French is a plus.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with a high level of proactivity and flexibility.
