You will analyze data, identify trends, recommend process improvements, and help reduce costs. In addition, you'll provide administrative support to logistics. Review order forms, place purchase orders, verify invoices, and manage payments/shipments. Create shipping labels, prepare and ship packages, and track shipments. Additionally, maintain records of imports-exports.Responsibilities: Supply Chain: Analyzing supply chain data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.Collaborating with suppliers and vendors to improve delivery times and minimize costs.Developing and implementing supply chain performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Evaluating supply chain initiatives by analyzing costs and outcomes and providing reports on performance to management.Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely delivery of materials.Logistics: Coordinating day-to-day shipping activities.Ensuring product shipments are on time and accurate.Coordinating with carriers and suppliers to resolve shipping issues.Creating shipping labels or related documents.Requirements: Min. 3 years of experience in a related job role (purchaser/buyer).Have an understanding of logistics and shipping processes.Be able to demonstrate proficiency in data analysis and reporting.Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analytics.Fluent in Spanish and English.Experience with any ERP (Oracle is a plus).Ideally Bachelor's degree (not a must).Be able to work in a dynamic environment onsite and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Novanta is proud to be an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action workplace.
