Sales development is one of the most critical processes an organisation can build to deliver a consistent, seamless, and efficient revenue machine.
Nutanix (NTNX) is looking for a motivated and driven AssociateSales Development Representative (SDR) who will play a pivotal role in the generation of pipeline.
This will be accomplished by connecting with prospects supplied by marketing teams on a one-to-one basis and through multiple communication avenues e.g., calling, LinkedIn messages, emails etc.
You will also work closely with field sales to break open key target whitespace accounts all of which are critical for the company's continued growth.
The most successful SDRs seek out opportunities by building rapport with prospects, taking the time to understand the customer environment, educating them on our solution in order to facilitate closing deals.
About the Team We have a team of Sales Development Representatives covering several countries across the region who you will be working alongside.
We also have comprehensive training that will kick start your career here at Nutanix and you will be assigned a peer mentor who is an experienced Sales Development Representative, who will share best practices and help you get started!
We don't stop there, you will have ongoing training to help you develop your skills in all areas of sales and to prepare you for your next step at Nutanix!
Your Role Identify and nurture potential new business opportunities for sales with the aim of growing the pipeline through inbound and outbound initiatives and schedule first-call meetings with prospects for the field sales repsFollow up on all leads generated through marketing campaigns to ensure timely response to potential customers.
Provide ongoing feedback to marketing in order to help improve targeting and lead qualityMaintain a high level of daily activity through calls, connections, emails and utilize a variety of prospecting tools to uncover relevant prospects to targetWork cross-functionally with field sales, channel, and marketing teams to deliver meetings and qualified opportunities and build new target account lists for sales-led campaignsExecute outbound sales-led campaigns to drive in new business acquisition for the assigned territoryWhat You Will Bring Under two years of related experience.
Open to exploring graduates who are motivated by our mission eager to learn, and want to start their career in salesFluent In English, and fluency in other languages would be beneficial.Knowledge of Virtualization, Storage, and cloud computing marketplaces preferredA proven track record of consistency in overachieving targets preferredTenacious and ambitious with a good work ethic and interest in sellingMust be able to find, assess, and prioritize sales opportunities effectivelyProactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilitiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and rapidly prioritize and adapt to changing initiativesFascinated by technology and passionate about selling ground-breaking ideas and productsWillingness to learn, be coached and implement new sales techniquesIf you've had experience using a CRM or Lead Management tool, be sure to let us know in your application
