In this position, you will be able to put all your skills to work and help develop existing relationships and growth of the client book in the Iberia Region. Our iShares & Wealth Team based in Madrid promotes the full spectrum of BlackRock / iShares products, solutions, and services to Wealth and Asset Managers. Our clients are institutional investors, global and multi-national banks, wealth managers, and independent advisors based in Spain, Portugal, and Andorra. The position will be based in Madrid as part of the Iberia Sales Team.Key responsibilities include:As an Associate Relationship Manager, you will help build connections with our client groups; improve and grow sales across our platform, including ETFs, alternatives, mutual funds, and bespoke solutions, to deliver aspirational financial results measured by AUM, net new assets, and revenue targets.Supporting the development and execution of account strategies jointly with the team or account lead.Handle day-to-day business flow and deliver service excellence (pre-trade guidance, product comparisons, cost analytics).Follow all regulatory and legal standards.Collaboration and information sharing with other iShares & Wealth sales teams globally.Contribution to the delivery of the annual target of net new assets, generated from existing and new clients.Maintain and develop dialog with respective product development and marketing departments.Deliver product presentations to clients via phone, video conferences, and office visits.Arrange client meetings and conference calls with Portfolio Managers or Product Specialists.Lead road shows, events & seminars in partnership with the Marketing and Event Management team.Knowledge/Experience:In-depth knowledge about financial products, especially actively managed funds and ETFs, preferably with validated experience in selling investment products to sophisticated investors and handling client relationships.Ability to take account ownership and strategically develop relationships; position investment ideas and other valuable services generating sales and assets.Strong understanding of capital markets and the Wealth and institutional landscape.Outgoing nature who puts client interest first and loves to work in a highly dynamic and ambitious environment.Skills / Qualifications:University degree in business administration, economics, finance, or another field.CFA, CIIA, and/or CAIA would be of advantage but not preconditioned.Shown ability to handle complex projects involving different business groups and to assist the business in implementing solutions across the broad range of BlackRock products and services.Excellent research and analytical skills.Extensive experience in MS Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
