Typical Accountabilities
Learning Operations
Partners with R&D GxP Learning Operations Director to ensure appropriate resourcing & end-to-end planning across all the learning programs.
Partners with Learning Program Leads to provide learning experience design advice & support change management & engagement across all the learning programs.
Partners with Learning Data Analyst to create measures that align learning solutions with business priorities.
Proactively seeks continuous improvement opportunities in planning, execution & measurements of R&D GxP Learning Operations.
Builds strong & trusted working relationships with business leaders, HR / T&D partners, & other key stakeholders.
Learning Experience Design
Sets standards for learning experience design & provides expert advice on performing needs analysis, choosing the right methodologies, ideating, prototyping, developing, testing & delivering learning solutions.
Provides expert advice on blended learning approaches aligned with the 3E – Education, Experience, Exposure – learning strategy. It might include but not be limited to virtual interactions, audio, animation, simulations, storytelling, eLearning, social learning.
Researches & adopts accessibility & sustainability in learning experience design.
Ensures compliance of learning solutions with GxP regulations & leads adoption of new regulations into the learning experience design process.
Stays current with emerging technologies & trends in experience design & adopts them as appropriate.
Drives global & local engagement by leading hybrid & onsite learning initiatives, e.g. functional onboarding, learning expo events, symposia.
Team Collaboration
Role models inclusion in the team & in the function.
Proactively seeks & creates development opportunities for team members.
Collaborates with team members to define best practices, maintain existing courseware, formulate appropriate solutions evaluation methods & ensure tracking in Learning Management System, as appropriate.
Shares learning experience knowledge with the team members and mentors/coaches others who would like to upskill in this area.
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Degree level education.
Expert knowledge of adult learning principles & various learning methodologies.
Experience with project & change management.
Experience with the R&D drug development life cycle, & working in a highly regulated environment.
Experience working in a global organization, across countries, cultures, and time zones.
Excellent analytical, written and oral communications skills.
Innovative thinker who is not afraid to think outside the box.
Skilled at managing & using technology.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Strong collaborative, influencing and interpersonal skills – curious to understand business environment.
