Associate Director, Medical Communications & InformationLocation: Barcelona, SpainJoin us as an Associate Director, Medical Communications & Information, and play a pivotal role in the execution of US & Global MC&I brand/therapeutic area deliverables. This includes responding to medical inquiries from healthcare professionals, reviewing/providing scientific consult to promotional materials, and developing scientific content for internal and external partners. This position is part of the Content Excellence Team within MC&I, and reports directly to an MC&I Director within the respective TA team.Accountabilities:As an Associate Director, you will be encouraged to deliver on an existing pipeline of work, using new operating efficiencies and resources to support prioritisation and capacity management. You will demonstrate scientific and business expertise relevant to therapeutic areas, stay abreast with the latest changes and trends in the therapeutic area landscape, and ensure that the medical content developed aligns with MC&I priorities and the overall medical strategy.Essential Skills/Experience:Advanced degree in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred), Pharmacology, Science, or equivalent clinical experience2-4 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry-based Drug/Medical Information/Scientific Communications or equivalent industry experienceProven expertise in drug information communication and managementExcellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skillsAbility to apply local regulatory (e.g. FDA), legal, and compliance requirements to Medical Affairs activities and drug information deliveryUnderstanding of the information needs for various customer segmentsStrong collaboration and leadership skillsExpert Scientific KnowledgeDrug Information Management ExpertiseMedical / technical writing experienceOrganization and time management skillsAbility to work in a sophisticated and evolving environmentDesirable:Clinical Pharmacy experience with patient care exposureDrug Information Residency or equivalent experienceExperience working with Commercial or Brand TeamsMedical information call centre experienceExperience leading projects and teamsManaged Markets or HEOR experiencePharmacy Licensure preferredReady to make a difference?
