Number of job vacancies and employment conditions of the contract:Number of job vacancies: oneJob position: assistant researcher.Funded line of research: "Smart control of climate resilience in cities".Working hours: 37.5 hours/week in morning/afternoon sessions.Remuneration: €1,890 gross/monthly (plus extra payments in accordance with current regulations).Second. First project in which the successful applicant will collaborate.Name of the project: "Smart Control of the Climate Resilience in European Coastal Cities (SCORE)".Reference: GA–101003534–SCORE–H2020Funding agency: European Commission.Dept. / Institute: Department of Civil Engineering.Tasks to be carried out: The successful applicant will collaborate in the research project by carrying out the following tasks:Mapping of the exposure to extreme weather events, floods, modelling of coastal hazards and coastline evolution using geographic information systems.Assistance with the design, implementation and evaluation of the sustainable strategies developed during the project in Benidorm.Assistance with the coordination, preparation and attendance at meetings, seminars and other events for research dissemination purposes.Preparation and management of documentary information.Third. Job profile.Preference will be given to those with:Experience and training related to the tasks listed above.B2 level of English.Knowledge of Catalan.Qualification: PhD in Materials, Structures and Landscape Engineering: Sustainable Construction (Spanish MECES level 4 or EQF level 8) or any other PhD programme with equivalent content.Fourth.
