Assistant Junior Algorithmic Trader

We offer internships leading to a permanent position.ResponsibilitiesWork with Senior Algorithmic Trader to assist and learn all aspects of trading and execution.Produce solid implementations of cutting-edge pricing models and hedging tools.Maintain and improve existing report and backtesting procedures within the desk.Interact as part of the trading team in analyzing and implementing existing and new strategies.QualificationsMS in computer science, engineering, physics, math, statistics or related.Knowledge in finance is a plus.PhD or similar research experience in a quantitative field will be strongly considered.Key SkillsSound knowledge of statistics and probability.Familiarity with signal processing and machine learning is a plus.Strong programming skills in Python, Matlab.
