About the location:
The Four Seasons Resort Mallorca is perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and backed by panoramic vistas of the Mediterranean and the surrounding landscapes. The hotel was originally opened in 1929 within an expansive private estate and is currently undergoing restoration and renovation, scheduled to open its doors as a Four Seasons resort in June 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily front desk operations.
Assist in managing guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations to ensure smooth processes.
Supervise and train front desk staff to maintain high service standards.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests efficiently.
Ensure the front office team provides exceptional guest experiences and maintains hotel policies.
Our Ideal Assistant Front Office Manager candidate will have:
Hospitality Experience : Proven experience in hotel operations, specifically in front office management or related roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of guest services and hotel procedures.
Leadership Skills : Ability to lead and motivate front office staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment while ensuring high standards of guest service.
Customer Service Orientation : A strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service, with the ability to handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with guests, team members, and other departments.
Organizational Skills : Strong organizational abilities to manage daily operations, including check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and billing procedures, ensuring smooth front office functionality.
Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to address and resolve issues efficiently, maintaining guest satisfaction while adhering to hotel policies and procedures.
Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) and other front office technology, ensuring efficient operation and accurate record-keeping.
Attention to Detail : Strong focus on accuracy in handling guest information, billing, and reservation details, contributing to overall guest experience.
Flexibility and Adaptability : Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, and adapt to changing situations or demands in a dynamic hotel environment.
