We're on the lookout for a rockstar Assistant Content Manager for Entertainment apps to sprinkle some magic over our daily operations within our Localization Team. As a vital member of our Content Team, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Content and our large network of freelance translators to ensure a seamless alignment with the overall content strategy, roadmap, guidelines, and deadlines. Your role is crucial in maintaining high standards and timely delivery of content within our dynamic and creative environment.
What's your Mission:
Brief freelancers on Trello, providing detailed instructions, deadlines, and payment terms for translations, proofreading, content quality checks, and content improvement tasks.
Make weekly quick translation requests.
Approve/reject localizations, and request edits as needed.
Efficiently plan freelancers' workload, assign tasks, follow up on their work, and ensure deadline adherence.
Develop supporting materials on Google Sheets, Google Slides, and other collaborative tools to facilitate the work of the Localization Team.
Support the management of the writers' team, including hiring, onboarding, and providing constructive feedback.
Maintain and complete the payments spreadsheet, providing an overview of completed and ongoing tasks.
Who we're looking for:
Junior profile, no specific previous experience is required. Can be an internship for graduating students with a hiring opportunity - because we believe in growing future stars!
Passionate about languages and content writing, you're perfectly fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a significant plus.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
Significant analytical and decision-making skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
Proficient problem-solving abilities and the capability to work autonomously.
Experience with creating spreadsheets and using collaborative tools is advantageous.
Bonus: Linguistics background/translation experience.
