Detalles del empleoTipo de empleo: Contrato indefinidoUbicación: 08018 Barcelona, Barcelona provinciaDescripción completa del empleo Job Title: Assistant Claims ManagerDivision: Group ClaimsReports To: Claims Product Specialist and/or Claims Focus Group Leader, as per Beazley's organisation chartKey Relationships: Claims staff, underwriters, insureds, brokers and service providersJob Summary: An independent Claims Handler role focused on low to mid value claims with no significant coverage issues to help achieve the Beazley vision of being the highest performing specialist insurer. To contribute to the overall performance, development, and management of the Beazley claims function. To proactively manage claims, primarily at the individual level while gaining experience at the portfolio level through observing and working with peers. A key requirement of the role is to assist in achieving high levels of satisfaction for the client and broker through high quality claims management, resolution, and excellent client service.Key Responsibilities: Individual Claims Leadership: Manage individual claims on a proactive basis from notification to closure, focusing primarily on claims with an expected or actual value at or below $250,000.Claims Portfolio Management: Support Claims Managers in managing the claims portfolio to optimise performance.Strategy and Business Planning: Understand the overall strategic objectives and business plans of the Beazley claims function.Working with Underwriters: Develop an understanding of marketing and underwriting strategies for the respective business area.Authority & Minimum Standards Observance: Operate within approved claims authorities at all times.Third Party Management: Follow Beazley's procedures for the selection and retention of 3rd-party professionals.Broker and Insured Relations: Develop strong relations with key brokers and insureds.Operational: Ensure claims management conforms to standardised processes.Supporting Senior Claims Handlers: Support senior Claims staff with relevant tasks, projects, or initiatives.Conflicts of Interest: Adhere to Beazley's Conflicts of Interest policy and report any potential conflicts.General Expectations: Employees are expected to comply with Beazley procedures, policies, and regulations, display business ethics that uphold the interests of all customers, and ensure all interactions with customers are focused on delivering a fair outcome.Personal Specification: Education and Qualifications: Graduate CalibreSkills and Abilities: Analytical skills, Work management skills, Interpersonal skills.Knowledge and Experience: Past claims experience, functional knowledge of claims management process.Aptitude and Disposition: Outcome focused, self-motivated, professional approach.Competencies: Problem-solving, Decisiveness, Customer-focused, Teamwork.#J-18808-Ljbffr
