Role Overview As the Assistant Accountant, you will support tasks within the accounting department. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that financial transactions are accurately recorded, managed, and reported.
This role is based in our Sant Cugat office just outside of Barcelona. This is an office-based role, but with the possibility of some days working from home.
You Will Posting of journals as required P&L review and reporting to FP&A Profit and Losses and Balance sheet reconciliations Taxes reporting. Checking, reconciliation with accountancy and reporting of PIC Spain tax information including:
Intrastat 349 model Review of SII reporting and follow-up of the open incidences Requirements Your Core Expertise: Proven experience within a financial role, with the ability to support the manager and interface with the rest of the Financial/Credit collection department with a proactive attitude Ability to solve problems and a logical approach to tasks Your Additional Skills: MS Office/computer knowledge Good finance knowledge Ability to plan the work Positive attitude, accompanied by excellent organisational skills, with an ability to work under pressure and prioritise work. Good interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written Good understanding of English both written and verbal is essential You Should Also Have: Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure to achieve strict deadlines Takes responsibility for managing and prioritising own work, with the resilience to work under pressure Delivery of results to deadlines, with a commitment to producing very accurate and timely financial information A team player with well-developed interpersonal skills, able to ensure good team working and cooperation Analytical and problem solving skills - including ability to analyse, interpret and present financial and business data Advanced Microsoft Excel skills desirable
